On May 27, the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced the list of Shandong Engineering Research Centers recognized in 2021, and the Shandong Engineering Research Center of Ultrasonic Flow Meter settled in Qingdao Jicheng. The engineering research center is jointly declared by Qingdao Jicheng Electronics Co., Ltd. and Shandong Institute of Metrology. The engineering research center carries out technical research around the industrialization of ultrasonic meters, forming ultrasonic water and gas meters with excellent performance and high cost performance, production capacity and supporting services.

The engineering research center has carried out technical research around the industrialization of ultrasonic meters, formed ultrasonic water and gas meters with excellent performance and high cost performance, production capacity and supporting services, built the company into a technology research, exchange, training and resource sharing platform with "research and application of ultrasonic flow meters and detection technology" as the core, completed the research and development of major scientific and technological projects and engineering applications, and improved the level of ultrasonic measurement technology, speed up the research and development of ultrasonic flow meter and localization process, leading the common progress of industry technology.
