Listening to the sound of the water and watching the water flow, people are worried about the water in the mountains. The rural residents in Yichang live scattered, and the mountainous areas are dominated by karst landforms. The surface water storage capacity is weak. With the click of the mouse, the pictures of the reservoir, pumping station and pipe network are displayed one by one on the large video monitoring screen of Moshi Water Supply Company. The water loss flow monitoring remote control system automatically presents analysis data, which can grasp the water level of the reservoir and the operation of the pumping station in real time.

Relying on the support of Qingdao Jicheng Rural Water Supply Intelligent Water Management Platform, Yichang City has built a rural water supply intelligent water management platform integrating water source monitoring, water plant monitoring, pumping station monitoring, pipeline water supply, meter reading and charging, which has improved the fine level of production, water supply, charging, customer service and management and control management, and realized the leapfrog development of rural water supply information construction.

After the corporatization reform of the water plant, the water supply company acted as the legal person, realizing the integration of design, construction and management, making the project construction more reasonable.

In 2021, Yichang's rural water supply complaints were reported by 37% lower than before 2018, and satisfaction increased by 11.7.

Up to now, Yichang City has set up a total of 117 water supply companies, 2393 projects with more than 100 people have been brought into the company's management, benefiting 1.9907 million people, basically realizing the full coverage of rural centralized water supply project management.
